This week was pretty
interesting. Jacob Norris's mom is doing a lot better although she's
going to be temporarily placed in a nursing home at age 40 which isn't the
greatest news but Jacob is taking it pretty well I think. We also saw Felicia
this Sunday and had a lesson with her. It
was pretty good and she is doing really well. She is getting her car back
hopefully today and she will now be able to drive herself around which is
really good. She is also continuing to move from part time to full time
employment. We also found a couple of really promising less actives that don't
seem to have had any contact with the church for years and years. They seem to have a lot of potential to
reactivate. We also fixed this one guy’s computer and re-installed
windows xp on it. Wednesday we had a massive snow storm come
through and it was pretty intense. People were fish tailing everywhere
all over the roads. It was pretty
dangerous. Even a plow was in the ditch and the day after in the
city a car got stuck in the middle of the road in the residential part of the
city. I think the city is too poor to afford to plow the roads so the roads in
it, specifically the residential ghetto roads, are not plowed very well. On
Friday the ward had a cake auction to raise money for the scouts kind of like
how our branch does one to raise money for the young womens so it was pretty
fun. The other Elders made a pretty disgusting cake that sold for like
40 bucks lol.
